Built for the Tivolii brewery opened in 1883, the grain elevator now belongs to the Tivoli Malz GmbH (GlobalMalt).
GlobalMalt is one of the leading malting groups in Germany and Poland. In each plant in Hamburg and in Bydgoszcz, GlobalMalt produces around 200,000 tonnes of Braumalz per year. Almost half of the production is exported to breweries in more than 40 countries of the world. The customers range from inns to large international breweries. The main product is bright Pilsner malt (malt) from 2- and 6-line malting barley. However, GlobalMalt can also supply darker Viennese and Munich malt as well as wheat malt, stout malt and various specialty malt.
