There is a piece of the Twin Trade Towers incorporated into this monument. This monument commemorates both the first responders and private citizens who reached out to care for one another regardless of race, gender, age or any other characteristic. This is one of the largest 9-11 memorials in the country. We were united by tragedy.

"This monument commemorates first responders and private citizens who reached out to care for one another. The Broomfield 9/11 Memorial was dedicated in 2006, the fifth anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the east coast. It is located in Broomfield, Colo., in Community Park. The sculpture by Reynaldo "Sonny" Rivera, includes all of the names of those who died in the tragedy that day. The Broomfield 9/11 Memorial has three sculptures showing assistance given by civilians, firefighters and police. There are also large stone pieces that on one side contain bas reliefs and on the reverse side are the names of those who lost their lives.
