The Plaque reads as follows:
"COMMEMORATING THE LIFE OF
ARTHUR F WHEELER
1918 - 2001
ROAD RACER PAR EXCELLENCE
HE LOVED THE ISLAND AND RODE
THE MOUNTAIN CIRCUIT, WHICH HE
REGARDED AS THE BEST IN THE
WORLD. FOR A SPAN OF OVER
50 YEARS WINNING THIRTY
TT REPLICAS AND 6 MGP REPLICAS
A PAST PRESIDENT OF THE
TT RIDERS ASSOCIATION
A GENTLEMAN, A MASON AND

At the top of the Plaque is a motorcylist on a racing motorcycle bearing the race number 17.
In the bottom left corner is the Crest of the TT Riders Association which features the Isle of Man's 'Three legs of Man' symbol in the centre and is topped by the flag of the United Kingdom and a 'chequered flag' which ends each TT and Manx GP motorcycle race.
In the bottom right corner are the Masonic Symbols of a set-square and a pair of dividers.
