On a background of azure, a silver palm laid diagonally is accompanied by two golden lilies.
(The abbey of Lérins had the blazon of azure with a silver palm in reference to the legend of Saint-Honorat chasing a snake with a palm. In 1030, when it received the land of Cannes as a donation, it completed it by adding the "C" of Canna and the "A" of Abbatia. In 1633, to please the King's representative the Marquis de Saint-Chamond, the consuls changed the letters for royal lily flowers. In 1696, it was the current coat of arms that appeared in Charles d'Hozier's Grand Armorial of France.)
