There are about 40 signed handprints of famous actors, directors, and filmmakers in front of the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. The hall of fame is lined up in a long crooked line along the frontside of the building. The petrosomatoglyphs appear to be made of concrete, which has been painted silver to give them a metallic look.
