The Old Log Jail is currently on display in Riley Park, Greenfield Indiana. Originally it stood at the south side of the public square. The jail was built in 1853 and was in use until 1871.

The Jail was moved to its current location in 1967. It is now used as a museum of early pioneer life in Hancock County. The Hancock County Historical Society is the jails caretaker.

On display within the museum are artifacts and photos relating to the history of Hancock County. One of the cells is on display as it probably was during its use as a jail. There is even a cutout in the floor to show the original log flooring. The jail is well maintained and contains some very interesting items.

The Hancock County Historical Society has done an excellent job in maintaining this building.
