In an alcove outside the Mountain View city hall is this lovely live oak tree

Live Oaks mature into beautiful trees, and this one will be only more impressive as the years go by.

A plaque in front of the tree identifies it as being "In honor of the citizens of Mountain View who gave their lives in the service of their country"

It lists dead from WWI, WWII, Korea and Vietnam.
