This house of worship is open to the public from 9 am to 5 pm every day of the year (extended to 7 pm for Saturdays and Sundays in the summer months).
Public services are held every Sunday at 11 am.
There are community building activities, and classes for the children.
From a leaflet - Construction:
"Construction of the Baha'i Temple began in April 1957 and was completed in 1961.
"Construction techniques never before employed in Australia were used. No dome of such dimension had ever been built in Australia."
Builder-architect:
"John Brogan of Sydney was the builder-architect for the Temple, and together with builders "Welch Bros", made up the team responsible for this unique Australian building."
Structure:
"A helicopter placed the prefabricated lantern structure on top of the completed dome - the first time such a technique was used in Australia. It generated much interest from a fascinated public and received extensive media coverage."
