[EN] It was formerly the Avenue de Paris, the new name was decided by council in June, 1965.
Its layout is roughly parallel to the Roman see crossing the hamlet of la Madeleine.
It is in this street that is built the Chapel of "Holy Blood" which, according to historian Henri Malo, was founded by St. Victoric at the end of the third century.
[FR] C'était auparavant l'avenue de Paris, la nouvelle dénomination a été décidé en conseil municipal au mois de Juin 1965.
Son tracé est à peu près parallèle à la voir romaine qui traversait le hameau de la Madeleine.
C'est dans cette rue qu'est édifiée la chapelle du "Saint-Sang" qui, selon l'historien Henri Malo, aurait été fondée par Saint-Victoric, à la fin du IIIème siècle.
