Der Grabstein ist Albert Halberstam (* 02. 08. 1823, † 28. 12. 1881) gewidmet. Zwischen 1862 und 1927 war der (Alte israelitische Friedhof) die zentrale Begräbnisstätte der Juden in Leipzig.
Die Schrift auf dem Grabstein ist heute schwer zu lesen. Auf der Vorderseite sind der Name, das Geburts- und Sterbedatum des Verstorbenen sowie die Widmung in deutscher Sprache geschrieben. Auf der Rückseite des Grabsteins steht ein unbekannter Text in Hebräisch.

The headstone is dedicated to Albert Halberstam (* 02. 08. 1823, † 28. 12. 1881). Between 1862 and 1927 the ('Alte israelitische Friedhof') was the central burial place for jews in Leipzig.
The writing on the headstone is difficult to read today. On the front are the name, the date of birth and death of the deceased as well as the dedication in German language. On the back of the tombstone stands an unknown text in Hebrew.
