Die Kongresshalle wurde 1900 als Gesellschaftshaus des Zoos eingeweiht und dient seitdem als einer der wichtigsten Veranstaltungsorte Leipzigs. Die Kongresshalle wurde 2015 umfassend saniert und beherbergt heute ein hochmodernes Tagungszentrum mit 15 Sälen und Räumen unterschiedler Größe und Ausstattung.
The congress hall was dedicated in 1900 as a society house for the zoo and had become one of the most important venues in Leipzig. The conference hall was extensively renovated in 2015 and is now a modern conference center with 15 halls and rooms of varying sizes and facilities.
