The temple of Mithra, in Jajce, is one of the oldest monuments in the country.

This temple, dedicated to the Persian invisible sun god, Mithras, dates from the early 4th Century. It's notably well preserved. It was discovered accidentally, during construction works. That was back in 1930, but only in 2012 the site was properly recovered and protected. It's available for visits.
