Die Gasolin AG war von 1920 bis 1971 ein deutsches Mineralölunternehmen mit eigener Tankstellenkette. Dann wurde sie auf die ARAL (bzw. BP) verschmolzen. Seitdem gibt es keine Tankstellen mehr von Gasoline - außer einer in Hamburg (
visit link) ) und (seit Mai 2015) dieser Restaurierung in Bad Homburg.
Das Tankwarthäuschen wurde 2013 in einem Garten wieder entdeckt, allerdings in einem sehr heruntergekommenen Zustand. Nach Restaurierung und Ergänzung um ein neugebautes Werkstattgebäude (im historischen Stil) und originalen Einrichtungsgegenständen (Zapfsäulen, Lampen, Firmenlogo etc) wurde hier eine Tankstelle, an der es aber keinen Kraftstoff gibt, aufgebaut.

Gasoline AG was a German petroleum group with many petrol filling stations from 1920 until 1971. Then it was merged into the firm BP (ARAL). Since then no Gasolin petrol filling stations exist - with the exeption in Hamburg and (since Mai 2015) this reproduction in Bad Homburg.
The glas house for the filling station attendant was found 2013 in a garden, but it was in a bad state. It was restored and complemented with a new built workshop shed (in historical style) and original furniture and fixtures. Now you can visit this historical petrol filling station, where you will not get petrol.
