Still a work in progress, the old Brackett School which was built in 1880, was open until the late 1960's. After it was closed it was moved to its current location on Feather Avenue. It is used as a local community center and historical site. The local area of Little Falls is loaded with great trout streams and is close to state bicycle trails. It's just a few miles from Sparta as well as right down the street from the Wegner Grotto. The site itself is well maintained and has the look of an original 1800's school house.
