In Salem, at the intersection of Essex Street and Washington Street, is the Flying Saucer Pizzeria, a restaurant with a science fiction and superhero theme with various Star Wars items, including a Boba-Fett figure behind the bar, and various Star Wars inspired posters.
The restaurant is located at a small plaza at the intersection of Essex Street and Washington Street. The entrance faces east into the plaza.
The restaurant has a single room roughly divided into a eating area and a bar. In this area are many interesting items that are part of a science fiction and superhero theme. Many are related to Star Wars. In the eating area, there were four posters that were inspired by Star Wars - not sure what they are for. Also, there are various space ships hanging from the ceiling, including Tie-fighters. Behind the bar, there was a Boba Fett figure. On a door to another part of the building was a sign with the image of Admiral Akbar and the words, "It's a trap!" and pointed to where the restrooms were located. There are probably some other things that I missed.
The restaurant has been at this location for a few years, now. I have seen it featured in local programs about restaurants, so it's been on my radar for a while.
