Au départ, l'idée novatrice pour la région est d'investir l'écrin naturel qu'est la forêt située entre Font- Romeu et l'Ermitage pour jalonner un sentier d'œuvres d'art monumentales et contemporaines.
C'est un endroit extraordinaire.
En évolution constante depuis sept ans, cette réalisation est devenue la galerie d'art la plus haute d'Europe et les œuvres qui la constituent reflètent les influences artistiques transfrontalières.
