The highpoint is located in Fort Reno Park - which is bounded by Nebraska Ave, Fessenden St, Belt RD, & Chesapeake ST. It was set in 2007 & dedicated in 2008, after a re-survey was made to find this highest point of natural elevation, after the original location had been reworked - first as a fort & later to support man-made reservoirs.
The disk marking the highpoint can be most easily reached from a parking area west of Nebraska Ave NW along Fort Drive NW (South of Deal Middle School) & from there traveling SW along a gravel pathway past a E-W line of trees, then turning ENE toward a small knoll to the highest point.
