Exact replica of a Vierländer Gemüseewer in the harbour of Bergedorf, a district of Hamburg.

A ship type called Ewer is known since the Middle Ages; a first written record dates from 1252. From about 1800 found it especially in the area of the lower Elbe and Unterweser, as well as in the Netherlands and Denmark dissemination.

This replica was initiated by the "Förderverein Vierländer Ewer" and was launched on the 1st of June 2013.
