The 40th World Rowing Championships were World Rowing Championships that were held from 28 August to 4 September 2011 at Lake Bled, Bled, Slovenia. Post of Slovenia issued on May 27, 2011 a stamp on the occasion. It depicts rowers racing on the lake an in the background Bled's top attractions, i.e. the pilgrimage church dedicated to the Assumption of Mary located on the lake island and Bled castle on opposite side of the lake.
