This beautiful one arch stone bridge was built by the Ottomans in the 16th Century.

Nowadays is the only fully preserved bridge from the Ottoman period over Miljacka river. The stone used on its construction is mostly "hreša" (white marble)

The oldest written record of this bridge dates from 1771, and its author was Mula Mustafa Bašeškija.

Being far from the city center and not even included in the road network, this bridge has no functional role nowadays. But it's a place used by the locals for relaxing, specially in beautiful sunny days.
