De Blauwe Katter (The Blue Cats) is located just east of the Oude Markt at Hallengang 1 (which
is really more of an alley at Naamsestraat 15. Besides having live Jazz performances on Mondays,
the bar also has an impressive collection of beers to try. I believe that there are around 1000 or so
and the list is continually evolving.
There is a small bar in the front with a good sized room in the back for larger acts.

I went back to the bar and talked with the bartender. He said that they have been open for about 10-11 years. Live shows happen between October and May when university is in session. Oh, and I counted 108 beers!
