The is the main-gate of the castle of Neuwied. It is made of wrought iron. On the beam across the top of the gate two lions are holding the ensign of the first of Runkel-Wied.
Although the gate is always open only persons with good cause are allowed to enter the castle.

Asimilar styled Gate can be found on the right hand side of the castle.
