Sie wandern dabei Nahe aufwärts, entlang der Priegerpromenade, durchs Salinental bis nach Ebernburg im Stadtteil Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg. Wenn Sie nach etwa 90 Minuten den Zwergplaneten Pluto in 5,9 Kilometern Entfernung auf dem Radweg nach Niederhausen erreichen, haben Sie sich theoretisch mit dreieinhalbfacher Lichtgeschwindigkeit bewegt. Möglich wird dies durch den von uns gewählten Maßstab 1:1.000.000.000 (1 Milliarde).
Im Rahmen des Hochwasserschutzes konnte die Kreuznacher Sternwarte mit Unterstützung des ehemaligen Oberbürgermeisters Rolf Ebbeke einen Planetenweg errichten. Dieser meist genutzte Spazierweg führt Sie entlang der Nahe.
So begegnen Ihnen unterwegs 9 Scheiben, auf denen die Planeten maßstabsgerecht als Messingkugeln angebracht sind. Sie finden Angaben zur Entfernung, der Masse, der Temperatur und der Umlaufzeit um die Sonne.

You walk this close up, along Priegerpromenade, through Salinental up to Ebernburg in the district of Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg.
