Fort Asperen is a fortress that was part of the New Dutch Water Line, and is located southeast of Asperen in Lingewaal town in the Dutch province of Gelderland. The tower fort is situated along a long dike that is a passageway (access) in the Waterline.
Around the complex is a moat and the fort is accessible by a drawbridge. Heavy three-storey building consists of exterior walls of a half meters thick. The three floors consist of a basement, ground floor with gun shot holes, first floor with gun shot holes and entirely above an earthen upper battery.
