1919-era apple press from the old National Fruit Company of Martinsburg. The company opened up a fruit processing plant in Martinsburg in 1920. It used several presses like the one on display. This press was built around 1919 by the Farquhar Manufacturing Company of York, PA.

The press was used to process fruit for its juices in the making of cider, juices etc. The plant shut down in 1965.
