ST. KANZIAN. Einer der astronomischen Höhepunkte dieses Jahrhunderts findet morgen mit dem Venustransit statt. Dabei zieht die Venus vor der Sonne vorbei und ist als schwarzes Scheibchen erkennbar. Diese Mini-Sonnenfinsternis werden erst künftige Generationen in Europa im Jahr 2125 wieder zu sehen bekommen.
Für diesen Anlass steht das Team der Sternwarte St. Kanzian am Sternweg 5 in St. Kanzian mit Christian Zechner morgen ab 5 Uhr für Besucher bei freiem Eintritt bereit. "Wenn das Wetter passt und freie Sicht herrscht, wird man von 5 bis 7 Uhr die letzte Phase des Venustransits verfolgen können", sagt der Sternwartenleiter.
