I have attended many an event here, even did the opening ceremonies a dozen times or so, very neat place and great racing.
Unfortunately, there are mean unreasonable people in the world. 5 years after the race track opened, a man bought and built a house just south ofthe track, the week he moved into his new house, he filed suit to close the track using the excuse it was to noicy and loud.

The track then was called MOntgomery County Speedway and closed in 2012.
New promoters and new owners opened in 2014 with an agreement and contract, supposedly approved and sing by the home owner, but after the track opened the guy filed suit again.
Montgomery Motorsports Park again closed down. They won the suit, but the cost and time wore them out.
Today the track is still there and for sale and the goofy neighbor out of options for creating bad times.
