Samson is a fictional dog breed bearded collie from the Flemish television around the duo Samson and Gert. It is a puppet whose voice from 1989 to 2005 was voiced by Danny Verbiest. Since the summer of 2005 is done by Peter Thyssen.
The animal is now the mascot of Studio 100.
It has not always been clear whether Samson a dog breed bearded collie, or was bobtail. The doll is based on a bearded collie, while an old animation that was announced by the then BRT Samson & Gert, to see a walking Samson, who seemed anatomically similar to a bobtail.
