Het stadhuis is gebouwd in de 18e eeuw rond de middeleeuwse hal en haltoren of belfort. De toren herbergt een gerestaureerde beiaard met 50 klokken en staat op de lijst van UNESCO-wereld erfgoed. Vóór de toren staat het perron, symbool van de stedelijke vrijheden in het prinsbisdom Luik. Op het gelijkvloers is het bezoekerscentrum van Toerisme Sint-Truiden gevestigd. Op de eerste verdieping zijn er onder andere de gemeenteraadszaal en trouwzaal. Momenteel is de restauratie van de eerste verdieping voltooid. Het stadhuis is elke eerste zondag van de maand om 14u gratis toegankelijk en dit onder begeleiding van een gids.
De benedenverdieping van het stadhuis is toegankelijk tijdens de openingsuren van Toerisme Sint-Truiden. De belforttoren is niet toegankelijk."

The town hall was built in the 18th century around the medieval hall and stop ears or belfry. The tower houses a restored carillon with 50 bells and is on the list of UNESCO world heritage. Before the tower is the platform, symbol of urban freedoms in the Principality of Liège. On the ground floor is the visitor of Tourism Sint-Truiden located. On the first floor there include the municipal hall and wedding hall. Currently, completed the restoration of the first floor. The town hall is on the first Sunday of the month at 14h free of charge and under the supervision of a guide.
City Hall basement is accessible during the opening hours of Tourism Sint-Truiden. The belfry is not accessible."
