Crown shaped chimney pots adorn the gable end chimneys at both ends of the building. Three crowned chimney pots survive on the west chimney. Four chimney pots (two with crowns) can be seen on the east chimney.

The heritage property is on the north side of Water Street: 232 Water Street, Carbonear. In 2016, the building hosts a restaurant.
