This broad waterfall is located as a gift at the end of the "Calle El Chorro" street, 30 minutes by walk from the center of La Chorrera city, a town in the western side of Panama province, and known for its numerous cascades. The road is in great shape and 25 cents route buses are available.
General culture notes:
The word 'chorro' means for "water spurt" in spanish.
The 150th foundation anniversary of La Chorrera was celebrated in September 2005.
