"These two windmills - the Moinho do Marinheiro (Sailor's windmill) and Moinho de Cima (Top windmill) - are part of a network of smaller museums that are under the care and supervision onf the Costume Museum and may be visited during normal visiting hours.

The Marinheiro Windmill has trapezoid-shaped sails or blades made of wooden slats, the only of its l«kind that still works, after it was acquired and restored by the city council in 2002. The Cima Windmill has been converted into the information Centre for the Montedor windmills.

The Montedor windmills have been classified as cultural heritage sites."
