EN: This flower field is located in a clearing between Tenniken and Diegten. A forest road leads through this clearing. In the area south of the trail, grass grows just as in most other fields nearby. But the slope north of the trail is strewn with countless different wildflowers in early summer. Apparently, this area is no longer being fertilized, so that the flowers that need a nutrient-poor soil, can grow again. For the preservation of this locality, collection or picking is prohibited.
DE: Diese Blumenwiese befindet sich in einer Waldlichtung zwischen Tenniken und Diegten. Ein Waldweg führt duch die Lichtung. Auf dem Gebiet südlich des Wegs wächst Gras, so wie auf den meisten anderen Wiesen der näheren Umgebung. Aber die Böschung nördlich des Wegs ist im Frühsommer mit unzähligen verschiedenen Wildblumen übersät. Offenbar wird dieser Bereich schon länger nicht mehr gedüngt, so dass die Blumen, die einen nährstoffärmeren Boden benötigen, wieder wachsen können.
