The fire hall has a pair of signs, one reading "Eastern Kings Fire Department", the other "Eastern Kings Fire Dept". We assume though, that, given the size of the community, the fire department is all volunteer, as the second sign says.

The hall has three sections, the two outboard sections with a pair of large overhead doors and offices in the centre section. Equipment reputed to be in their possession includes:
198? Ford E cube van rescue
197? Ford F tanker
196? GMC front-mount pumper
Retired from service is a 1968 Ford C / King pumper (840/?) (SN#67044) (ex-Charlottetown Fire Department)
