This small white chapel stands near to the port area of the town and has a date stone above the entrance.

It was built by local fishermen in the area of Lonjas, where the fish markets used to be.
It was financed by fees for fishing off the coast of Africa.
The date of 1891 is carved in the keystone of the arch way over the entrance.
The chapel is still in use today.
It is dedicated to the feast day of the Holy Cross on the 3rd May.
