For somebody maybe controversial, but undoubtely impressive modern sculpture named "The Gate of Time" ("Brána casu"), became soon after its unveiling in August 2013 one of the most photographed landmarks of town Tabor historic centre.
The sculpture, symbolizing the transition between the Old Town and the New Town of Tábor, is work of academic sculptor Albert Králicek from Nová Paka. Sculpture cast from bronze weighs 1500 kg and on its surface and on surface of bronze tablet in its front are imprinted palms and foots of several hundreds of Tábor citizens.
