La Laguna is a wonderful small walking trail in the rain forest.

This is a narrow nature trail in Gamboa, a small quiet town not far from Panama City. The whole area is pure rain forest and it's easily accessible. The trail head is located directly near a public street of the town and it's incredible how suddenly one is involved by the forest, its quietness and beauty.
It's about 1 km long, not much, but each step is like bless. Everything is beautiful, lots of wildlife, nature sounds, creeks, bridges. And it's for free, something which is not usual in Panama.
