Nicht umsonst zählt das Familienunternehmen zu den besten Bäckereien Deutschlands. Laut "Die Zeit" sind die hausgemachten Amerikaner sogar einer von 99 Gründen, Deutschland zu genießen. ;-)

One of the best bakeries in Germany: No bags, no cartons, no packets, just handwork and manual labor.
The bakery is most famous for the "Black and white cookies". By the way, in Germany, this cookie is called "Amerikaner" = American. ;-)
My favorite is the yeast cake, filled with chocolate, nuts and almonds (Gefüllter Kranzkuchen).
