This E-Bike Charger is located at the wall of Visitors Center of National Park Dwingelderveld.
At this part there is only room for parking your bicycle.
Cars and scooters are not allowed in this area.
There may be four E-Bikes are charged simultaneously.
Charging is free and so is the entrance into this beautiful visitors center.
Due to a winter renovation, this charging station out of service until mid-March 2016.
About the Visitor Center:
The permanent exhibition provides information about the development and management of the valuable moorland. Exchange Exhibitions on various themes make a regular visit worthwhile. In addition, the visitor center is a solid starting point for excursions, and many children and family activities, walking or cycling.
Facilities in and around the visitor center:
-a spacious parking area with two disabled parking spaces
-a charging point for electric bicycles
-a wheelchair-accessible counter, ditto toilet with pullout drawers;
-shop with books, a variety of nature-related items, plans, non-alcoholic drinks, coffee-chocolate-coffee-vending machine, ice cream and cakes
-free Wi-Fi access
-an exhibition space upstairs in the center, with an ever-changing exhibition; there is no disabled lift.
-a small playground, a willow hut village and a water playground for families with children
-a herb and butterfly garden
-small animal garden insect hotel
-apiary, with a hive in a frame
At the visitor center are no bikes to rent, indeed in neighboring places such Ruinen and Dwingeloo.
Opening times: from October 1 to April 1 Tuesday / Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00. From April 1 to October 1 and in all school on Monday / Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00. During holidays different opening hours.
