**********************************************************

Usually you can not see this helipad easily as it is on the 13th floor of the hospital. But you see the garage (hangar) of the helicopter on the top of the building and sometimes the helicopter itself. On average 3 to 4 times every day (not in the night).

On the website of the rescue helicopter "Christoph 2", which is the only helicopter which is allowed to start and land here, you can have a look at the helipad itself: (visit link)

The team needs about 2 minutes until the helicopter starts to his flight - up to 60 km, respectively 20 minutes. The fligth is charged according to its flight time. In 2015 this was Euro 2,343 per hour or Euro 39.05 for each minute.

The first rescue helicopter started from this hospital in 1972. Since 2008 the type EC 135 T2i+ is used.
