"Nosotros afuera" / "We, the outsiders" (Buenos Aires) - Abstract Public Sculptures on Waymarking.com

In the front of huge Art-Deco Kavannah Building, in Recoleta Barrio (district) of Buenos Aires, You can find work of one of the most eccentric Argentinian artists - Federico Manuel Peralta Ramos - called "Nosotros afuera" ("We, the outsiders").

The depicted replica of famous Ramos' masterpiece, originally created by artist in 1965, was unveiled in October 2014 by Buenos Aires officials. With this giant egg sculpture Ramos won the National Prize of the Instituto Di Tella in 1965.

Federico Manuel Peralta Ramos (*January 29, 1939 Argentina - †August 30, 1992) was an Argentine artist, representative of Dada and the avant-garde of the sixties. Ramos was one of the most original and eccentric characters of Buenos Aires at that time.
