The statue of Madan Mohan Malaviya stands in front of the Banaras Hindu University main campus entrance in Varanasi in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It was unveiled in 1961 by Dr. S. Radhakrishnan.

Madan Mohan Malaviya life-size, bronze statue was unveiled in 1961 by the then Vice President of India Dr. S. Radhakrishnan on the occasion of his birth centenary. It stands on a tall stone plinth in front of the Banaras Hindu University main gate .

Madan Mohan Malaviya (1861–1946) was an Indian educationist and politician notable for his role in the Indian independence movement and as the four time president of Indian National Congress. He was respectfully addressed as Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya and also addressed as 'Mahamana'.

Malaviya is most remembered as the founder of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) at Varanasi in 1916, which was created under the B.H.U. Act, 1915. The largest residential university in Asia and one of the largest in the world, having over 35,000 students across arts, sciences, engineering, medical, agriculture, performing arts, law and technology. Malaviya was Vice Chancellor of Banaras Hindu University from 1919–1938.

Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan (1888 – 1975) was an Indian philosopher and statesman who was the first Vice President of India (1952–1962) and the second President of India from 1962 to 1967.

The inscription on the base reads:

"Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya / 1861 - 1946 / Statue unveiled by Dr. S. Radhakrishnan / Vice President of India / On December 25 1961".
