Tucked away in the same premises as Samode Haveli, this brightly lit store has everything that traditional Jaipur has to offer as far as knick-knacks, paintings, handicraft items and souvenirs are concerned. On entering, you'd find a couple of workers sitting in a corner engrossed in something called ‘Name on Rice’, where you can get transparent liquid filled key-chains and pendants with a minuscule grain of rice inside. Get anything written on this grain by these extremely talented craftsmen. Go for their wooden or marble work that varies in size, shape and hue. Right from intricately carved, pocket sized animals to three foot tall statues, Maharaja Art Gallery surely knows how to please its customers. (visit link)
