The Raj Mahal (Royal Palace) is now converted into the Jaisalmer Fort Palace Museum & Heritage Centre. It is located inside the walls of Jaisalmer fort.

The five stories palace is known for its intricate details and architectural splendour. Some of the things to look for are the handrails with latticed tops, the intricately carved window screens and balconies and the interior which is painted and tiled in typical Rajput style. The displays are specimens showcasing the rich cultural heritage of centuries old Rajput period.
The museum houses a great collection of artifacts depicting the rich culture and heritage of Jaisalmer. The silver coronation throne, bed, dish, local stamps, banknotes, and sculptures of the royal family are main attractions of this palace. You can enjoy a bird's eye view of the city from the rooftop of the palace.
