EN: The new hydroelectric power station in Rheinfelden was opened in 2011. It has two fish ladders, the one on the pictures if from the Swiss river bank. The concrete structure has four segments.
In 2012, the first salmon on the Upper Rhine in many decades was discovered in the fish ladder.
DE: Das neue Wasserkraftwerk in Rheinfelden wurde 2011 eröffnet. Es hat zwei Fischtreppen, die auf dem Bild ist vom Schweizer Ufer. Die Betonstruktur hat vier Segmente.
2012 wurde in der Fischtreppe das erste Mal seit Jahrzehnten wieder ein Lachs am Hochrhein entdeckt.
