[DE] Im Rahmen der Natura-2000-Richtlinie der EU wurde das Treenetal im Jahr 2007 auf einer Länge von 73 km zwischen dem Troßsee am Rand von Angeln und Friedrichstadt als FFH-Gebiet (Fauna-Flora-Habitat) ausgewiesen.
Das Treenetal ist wesentlicher Bestandteil des FFH-Gebietes Treene vom Winderatter See bis Freidrichstadt und Bollingstedter Au.

[ENG] As part of the EU Natura 2000 Directive the Treenetal between the Troßsee and Friedrichstadt was expelled to FFH area (Fauna-Flora-Habitat) in 2007.
The Treenetal is integral part of the FFH area Treene from Winderatter lake to Freidrichstadt and Bollingstedter Au.
