In downtown Belfast, along High Street, is the offices for the Republican-Journal.

The building is on the southwest side of the road, about a block from the Belfast City Hall.

The building has two stories with the office for the newspaper on the first. The door to the second floor is next to it. Above the door is a sign, stating:

"The Republican-Journal"
Established 1829
Maine's Oldest Weekly Newspaper"

There is another sign, in the window, that states that these are the new offices for the paper. There is a historical sign that states that another building was once the City Hall and also had the presses for the newspaper.
