Située dans le vieux Vichy, la bâtisse construite vers 1830, et qui a vu naître le père du journalisme moderne, est dans un état de délabrement avancé. Laissée à l'abandon pendant plus 25 ans, elle a été rachetée il y a un an. Le projet de réhabilitation de la maison natale d'Albert Londres a été présenté le 6 juin 2015 à Vichy. L'association veut créer une maison d'écrivain. Le rez de chaussée sera consacré à l'évocation de la vie du journaliste et le premier étage à ses reportages, avec une mise en scène permettant au public de découvrir l'homme.
