The Archbishop Khachatour Kesaratsi became famous as the man who created the first printing house in Persia, which happened around 1636. This statue can be found in the Christian Quarter of Isfahan, also known as New Joulfa, right in front of the cathedral. The plate mentions the inauguration date of the statue but the letters are so faded it became hard to read. Probably 2007.
