EN: The Rotelsee is not far from the summit of Simplon Pass behind the old hospice. It is located at 2028 meters above sea level and has a surface area of approximately 1.2 hectares. Several trails lead along the lake, but it is also accessible by car over an unpaved side road.
DE: Der Rotelsee befindet sich unweit von der Simplon Passhöhe hinter dem alten Hospiz. Er liegt auf 2028 Metern über Meer und hat eine Oberflache von etwa 1.2 Hektaren. Verschiedene Wanderwege führen an dem See vorbei, er ist über eine ungeteerte Seitenstrasse auch mit dem Auto erreichbar.
